    Secure computer recycling and data destruction event at the Saint Ferdinand Church in Cranberry. The following computer components will be accepted at this event: •Desktop, laptops, tablets, servers, hard drives (On-site data destruction will be offered for $10 per hard drive) •LCD monitors •Cell phones, Ipods, MP3 players, etc •Computer Peripherals include keyboards, mice, printers (< 50lbs), power supplies, motherboards / circuit Boards, cables, CD, DVD, tape &, floppy Drives, UPS batteries & backup systems, power supplies, memory, hard drives, computer fans, routers, switches, wireless routers, access points, bridges, firewalls, cabling, modems, KVM switches •Phones, phone systems •AC Adapter & wiring •In an effort to maximize our recycling efforts televisions will not be accepted at the event. Free will donations will be accepted for the Saint Ferdinand Church.

  2. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

    Bring your unwanted, unused, or expired prescription drugs to the drop off location in the rear parking lot at the Cranberry Municipal Center. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day program, which is part of an initiative by local police departments and led by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, was created to enable residents to safety dispose of unused, unneeded and expired prescription medications. In addition to keeping dangerous drugs out of the wrong hands, the program is also designed to keep unwanted medications out of the Township’s sanitary sewer lines, which eventually drain into local rivers and streams.

    The War of 1812, as it relates to Western, PA., and the Invasion of Canada, November 28 - December 1, 2812 Our speaker, Rich Hayden, is a retired research chemist with about 30 patents and publications nationally and internationally in that field, with an avocational interest in history and genealogy, having several publications in appropriate periodicals, including two in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly. As always, the program is free and we will provide light snacks and refreshments, so bring yourself and a friend.

    For all ages! Join us for stories, songs, and fun before turning in for the night. Slippers, PJs, and stuffed animals welcome. Note ***PJ Storytime is going to the dogs! Casey, a golden retriever will be our first animal friend joining our PJ storytime. He will be sitting in on our storytime and will be available for petting as well. Casey is part of a Pet Assisted Literacy Service, or PALS, from Animals Friends. He will join us for our March 27 and April 24 PJ Storytimes only. All services animals are current on vaccines and have passed their Therapets Certification Test.
