  5. "Give A Pint, Get A Round" Community Blood Drive at Cranberry Highlands

    Please call the Central Blood Bank to make a reservation at 866-DONORS-1 (866-366-6771). All donors will receive a "2-FOR-1 GOLF CERTIFICATE" valid through the end of the 2015 golf season. Customer Appreciation Rates will be applied all day.

A draft Transportation Capital Improvements Plan is available for public view at the Township’s Administration Offices located at the above address on Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Join Jerry Andree for coffee, conversation and a tour of the new public safety training facility. In addition, visitors will see the Volunteer Fire Company conduct two training exercises, one on Vehicle Fires and the other on Forcible Entry. Vehicle Fires is a training course that involves hands-on live fire exercises that offer our volunteers the opportunity to practice the strategies and tactics necessary to extinguish automobile fires in a real life setting. Forcible Entry is a practical exercise that covers the techniques necessary to gain access to a building with various fire services tools using several training props.

    Margaret Hewitt, special collections librarian, is in charge of the genealogy room for the Butler Area Public Library. She will share the latest information regarding databases, in-house materials and what’s on tap for 2015. May 1st "May Day" is observed by the museum and archive world as a day to reevaluate the safety and storage of collections, so she will also discuss how to best preserve and store your family archives.
