Manager's Coffee: Focus on Traffic Calming

Tuesday, November 13, 2018

"What's the rush?" Cars speeding through residential neighborhoods have been an evergreen complaint of Cranberry Township residents. Dealing with them has also been a priority for Township traffic engineers and law enforcement personnel.

Township Manager Jerry Andree and key members of the Township staff will hold a get-together at Cranberry’s Public Works garage with local residents to examine the issue at a forum titled “What’s the Rush?”  Among the topics discussed will be an explanation of the techniques currently used to slow traffic, a demonstration of law enforcement tools which are currently available to address the issue, and an exploration of the psychology of speeding as well as of the perception of speeding.

No reservations are necessary and everyone is welcome to attend.  However, for planning purposes, an RSVP to 724-776-4806 x 1089 would be appreciated.
