We want your unwanted drugs

Cranberry Township Police will participate in a nationwide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at its Municipal Center rear parking lot on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.  The drive-thru, drop-off collection program has several goals: safely disposing of expired and unwanted prescription and OTC medications which could lead to problems for the patient and anyone else with access to the drugs.  The take-back event is in addition to the drop-off drug collection box in the police department lobby, which is available anytime during normal business hours.  No questions, identification, or fees will be involved in the collection.  Drugs can be deposited either loose or inside their original containers, but no sharps or syringes, please.
